The Daily Diamonds Story — Annabel & Isabella
Share
Every brand has an origin story. Ours begins, like most good things, with a friendship.
How it started
Annabel and Isabella have known each other long enough to have shared the things that matter — big decisions, significant milestones, the moments that shape a life. Jewellery was always part of those conversations. Not as an accessory, but as a marker. A piece worn on the day something changed. A ring that meant something. A necklace passed between people who loved each other.
What bothered us about the jewellery industry — and it bothered us for years before we did anything about it — was the gap between what was available and what felt right. Mass-produced pieces that looked like everything else. Retail markups that had nothing to do with the quality of the work. A buying experience that felt transactional when the thing being bought was anything but.
We believed there was a better way. A more personal way. So we built it.
The Sydney workshop
Daily Diamonds is made in Sydney. Every piece — whether it's a pair of everyday hoops or a bespoke engagement ring that took months to design — is made to order in our workshop by people who care about what they're making.
Sydney wasn't an accident. It's a city that takes craft seriously, that has the skilled makers and the fine stone suppliers and the gemological expertise that fine jewellery demands. Working from Sydney also means we can be genuinely hands-on with every piece — not managing a production line from a distance, but involved in every decision from the first design sketch to the finished ring.
For our New Zealand customers, there's something we've always loved about this: a piece made in Sydney, worn in Wellington or Auckland or Queenstown, carrying a little of both places with it.
What we believe
We believe that the piece you wear every day should feel like it was made for you. Not chosen from a display case, not picked from a website grid, but designed from scratch around your life, your aesthetic, and the things that matter to you.
We believe that custom doesn't mean expensive — it means the budget goes entirely toward what you've chosen, with nothing wasted on retail overhead or mass production shortcuts.
We believe that the buying process should feel like a conversation between people who trust each other, not a transaction between a customer and a brand. Every client who comes to Daily Diamonds speaks directly with Annabel or Isabella. That's not a marketing line. That's just how we work.
And we believe that fine jewellery is for wearing, not saving. The pieces we make are built to be worn every day, to catch light on an ordinary Tuesday, to be there for the moments that matter and the ones that don't. That's what daily diamonds means to us.
Where we are now
Since we started Daily Diamonds, we've made engagement rings for couples across New Zealand and Australia. We've made pieces for milestone birthdays, for anniversaries, for new beginnings and quiet celebrations. We've had customers reach out via WhatsApp with nothing more than a stone they found in their grandmother's drawer and the beginnings of an idea — and watched that become something extraordinary.
Every piece we've made has been someone's story. That's what we come back to, every time.
What's next
We're growing — carefully and on our own terms. New collections, new pieces, new customers in new places. But the thing we're most committed to keeping, no matter how much we grow, is the part that started this: the conversation. The personal back-and-forth that turns an idea into a piece of jewellery that means something.
If you'd like to be part of that — whether you have a piece in mind or just the beginning of an idea — reach out. We'd genuinely love to hear from you.
